Introducing Bessy

Picture
_Our motorhome, Bessy for short, is a secondhand Bessacarr E760. She started life as a Fiat chassis and now has an Al-Ko chassis. There is no unsightly, and “unaerodynamic” bump on the top so it is officially designated a low-profile motorhome.

_Inside at the front we have 2 long side seats which allows us to relax during the day. They can be used as 2 single beds or pulled together to make a double bed at night.
At the stern we have a fixed double bed and a washroom with a Thetford toilet, shower and washbasin. That part of the motorhome is the only uncomfortable area. It’s quite cramped and only used for the occasional night time emergency.
In the double floor there is a 100 litre fresh water tank and a 100 litre grey water tank.
All told Bessy is very comfortable and easy to drive. However at 2.8 litre she’s a bit thirsty so a light right foot is essential.
