A quiet Stellplatz down by the lake shore about the size of two tennis courts. Very flat concrete. The entrance is clearly marked down a short slope. Cost is €6 for 24 hours. The machine is a bit fiddly as you have to press 9 and the hash sign before you can put money in the machine. Then you must press Green or is it Red to get your ticket... you get the point. So we didn’t bother with electricity as that demanded more German than we could muster.

This is a purpose built Stellplatz with water, electric and a dump. Sadly no internet. It is situated in a beautiful park next to a Spa type hospital. Get a quick salt cure while you are here! Cost is €1 for electricity but we found a plug that still had some watts still on the meter. There is no charge for the dump but there is for water. In Season there is a charge of €3 per night per person. Maybe a man comes round.

There is a helpful English speaking attentant at the entrance.

100 liter water for €1.00 and a dump for €0.50. Pleasant quiet area with 5 motorhomes in but would take about 20. Area is near some lakes and weekend “sheds”. Only 5 minutes from autobahn and more secure than stopping in a rastplatz. In the evening the man arrived to charge us €12.5 for one night’s stay. Very helpful staff visiting and cleaning the place.

There is a sewerage works. (N 47° 50.576', E 12° 59.330'). Ring the bell at the gate and the man will let you in and assist you in dumping. Very friendly and helpful. |

However, if you turn right from the stellplatz and drive a couple of hundred yards Campingplatz "Dr.E.Dadder" is on the left. You are allowed to dump, etc for a small fee. Free. Small tarmac area sheltered from main road with bushes. If you collected the coordinates from the internet they are wrong. This is the official place. Local bus driver seems to park there for the night. No facilities but worth it if visiting Burg Eltz, just a few miles away. Well worth a visit.
