Camp Smok, Krakow area

Pleasant campsite with all facilities, but wifi is better nearer the reception. The hot showers and toilets are very clean and tidy. There is a small shop for essentials. Not far from Krakow on bus and tram. Buy a 5PLN ticket from the bus driver and it is good for one hour’s travel including the tram. Insert them in the little box to have the time stamped on them.
Best to buy two tickets from the driver so you have tickets for the return journey.

Very clean tarmac car park for visiting the Auschwitz-Berkanau Concentration Camp. 8PLN per hour for the first four hours and free for the next 21 hours. Well lit area and very quiet.

Gravel car park off the motorway... we were worried about the ViaToll system! Next to a park with tennis courts, skateboard ramps, walks, swimming pool and a river. Quite a nice place.
